Inside McMillan…
Bloomingdale (for now) has posted some photos of the McMillan Sand Filtration Site, which I've written about extensively since the city is redeveloping the entire 25-acre site into a huge mixed-use project.
Despite my small obsession with McMillan—an at once creepy, beautiful and bizarre D.C. landmark—I've never stepped inside. These photos are the closest I've ever come to getting a real tour.

There is no one in the DC media market that has worked harder to report on the McMillan Park space. Ruth has written many stories, which are easily googled. I have seen Ruth at the public community meetings and other McMillan-related events. Ruth is a hard-working reporter who chose to share pictures that came her way. For this she should be thanked by the community, not bitten by a rodent like you.
