The actual start price on this home was $819K. From the MLS history, you can see that 999,999 was put in as the list price for about 1 hour, after which, it was revised to $819K. It was reduced to $799K when it went under contract and sold for $780K, for 95% of the originial list price. Some agents input a number as a “filler” until the agent finished uploading the property. Once completely uploaded, the agreed upon list price is then inserted, but the MLS “records” the filler number as the start listing price.
