yeah, just because the freeway is there, and the area south of the freeway is kind of cut off, this is still barracks row. i'd say it runs the whole stretch from pennsylvania ave down to m street.

i'm pretty sure that this section of 8th Street IS still Barrack's row. The comemrcial strip pre-datest he highway. It isn't talking about the ballpark area.
