Housing Complex

What Do You Call This Place?

This week, I'm working on a story about the changing identity of the neighborhood captured in the above google maps shot. If it's not immediately recognizable, well hopefully one of these names will be:

(A)That neighborhood around the stadium
(B) Ballpark District
(C) Near Southeast Waterfront
(D) Southeast Federal Center
(E) Washington Navy Yard
(F) Navy Yard
(G) Capitol Riverfront
(H) Capitol Hill
(I) None of the above (please submit missing options in the comments section below).

Guess what? I lied: there's no right or wrong answer.

I call it the place where all the fun gay bars used to be.

Sorry, yes of course. I can't believe I forgot that one.

You can certainly call it Capitol Hill. I think Near Southeast Waterfront is a good candidate for the sub-name.

  4. #4
