…Might be coming to a neighborhood near you if D.C. Vote has its way. In the short 14 months I’ve been working here, I’ve witnessed many a creative thrust from this non-profit from the D.C. quarter campaign to a Boston Tea Party-esque protest last year.The group would like to see a portion of South Capitol Street between N Street and Potomac Avenue Southeast to be renamed. It needs D.C. Council approval. Today, there is a public hearing for the bill, the “Taxation Without Representation Street Renaming Act of 2008.”
