My Favorite Headline of the Financial Crisis
Today’s NPR story: “Ugly Economy Can Mean Ugly Hair”
Beauty shops across the country are seeing customers less frequently. Sort of like, I imagine, nail salons. Department stores. Restaurants. And a whole host of other industries. I propose a series:
Follow up ”Ugly Economy Can Mean Ugly Hair” with ”Ugly Economy Can Mean Ugly Toenails” and later ”Ugly Economy Can Mean Ugly Outfits that are So Last Season.”
Oh, but wait! I spoke to soon. There is a reported growth in chain hair salons, according to the story.
