Because of NACA, our home has Not foreclosed. Yes it is true it takes time and effort. People always want the easy way out. Naca can help you with your home, just have some patience and do your part.

This is a great program that requires time and commitment. I attended this meeting on October 4th as well and I really enjoyed the presentation. Keith was patient, knowledgeable, and very forthcoming about the process. And that's the important part of it, people need to know that homebuyer should be a process. Buying a home is the largest financial undertaking a person will most likely make in their lifetime and a lot of us rush into it without knowing the basics. DC has some of the best programs in the country for people who are interested in buying a home. Housing Counseling Services assists with HPAP loans, Manna has a Homebuyers Club, Capital Area Asset Builders has an IDA matched savings program. All of them require commitment and patience, and all of them help make a more effective purchasing. I have my appointment in November with NACA and I can't wait.

i am working with the dc office and am hopeful that they will get back to us in a reasonable amount of time. I waited 6 weeks for an appointment after the workshop, and an hour for our counselor that took our information. thanks for the story. i will make sure to stay on top of them so we can be approved before the winter comes!
