Housing Complex: News and Fluff on D.C. Real Estate

Obama’s Future Bedroom, Plus More on the White House

I thought only sharks got their own full week of television, but yesterday C-SPAN announced that it is going to be airing a “7-day television event” on D.C.’s most famous home. No not the Evermay! I’m giving that place a break. We’re talking about 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, here.

The series will debut on Dec. 14, and the other episodes will air at 9 p.m. the following nights. Apparently, Laura Bush assisted with the project, which is sort of ironic considering that anyone who’s interested in the series will only care because Barack Obama’s (or, you know, perhaps John McCain) is moving in there.
