So very engaging and fun. I agree with a lot of the viewers and I'm glad the audience saw the darkness (maybe dimness) crouching in the humor. If the sketches had no new social insights, the scenarios presented intriguing new angles to arrive at the point. Some of the general gist of the exchanges in the skits were memorable to me at least. Maybe more wit and cleverness lurking here than belly-aching laughs. But I would have liked to have known where to go in the Fringe to find such--i.e., humor of the laugh out loud type that wasn't so physical and slap stick.

I had no idea what to expect from SOUP and expected more trans-fats. It was great fun. The two opening skits (cooking show and talking vagina) were great. It was good comedy served fresh. Not for the under 14 crowd unless parents can handle watching a talking vagina scene with their kids. Kids, of course, can take it.

Since everyone is lovin' on the Yoga sketch, I'll put in my specific two cents; I thought it was definitely a creative concept and particularly impressive physically, but began to feel like two jokes repeated over and over to me.

The members of Trio have remarkable chemistry between and among them, and it really shines in the sketches that involve all three of them. The Power Yoga sketch in particular was a terrific piece of writing, acting, accent-work, and physical comedy.

The yoga sketch is hilarious, as well as the kitchen sketch. Some of the pieces are fairly dark and cynical, so it's not about "sketch comedy" and immediate belly laughs. I thought it was a smart and funny show.
