		<description>Maybe because I&#039;m an opera lover, but my reaction was much more positive.  A &quot;chamber opera&quot; like this is a rare treat.  And any original opera that works on its own terms is noteworthy. The singers and musicians acquited themselves well, and the score was
suggestive of the edgy romanticism of Robert Schumann, for whom the cental character was an alter ego.  

In all, a very worthy effort and well worth the attention of fringe goers who are open to opera.</description>
