The restaging of this play in the current era worked so perfectly, especially here in DC, that I believe the script needed no rewriting. I found Mr. Duda’s characterization of the title role to be a very good display of a military professional thrust into the political arena. All in all, I was highly entertained by this show.

As for the prop weapons, the cast told me after the show that the guns used are actual replica guns, and the “proportioned for children” pistols really are that size in real life.
