Sweet Sam,

1. Stalking is not very effective if you publicize that you are doing it.

2. Thanks for spreading the word about Cautionary Tales/Trixie Tickles.

3. If I ever go through a Mrs. Robinson phase, you will totally be first on my list. (I mean, WTF is a "face book diary"?? *assume elderly voice* When I was yer age, we had to dial up to connect to the internet. When I was yer age we didn't have online diaries, we wrote about things in spiral bound notebooks and on little scraps of napkins, and we liked it that way. When I was yer age we stalked people by hiding in the bushes outside their house, not by writing about it on alternative weekly blogs...

Anyhow--keep up the good work fringe folk.

Just caught most of AIR HEART at the hardware store turned theater space on D Street now called The Scientarium (down the street from Woolly and around corner from Teaism). I say most of because unfortunately the performer had an unprecedented malfunction with the cool rotating airplane sculture on which she performs much of the show and had to stop before we saw the end. Suffice it to say its worth checking out, involves her aerialist climbing on and spinning on the plane while performing as, and reflecting on, Amelia Earhart and her accomplishments as a pilot and as a woman in the 20s & 30s, the lure of flying and her disappearance (no, she didn't end up on the LOST island, but that be next season's plot). Unique and really lovely.
