Gift Guide: How to Stay Warm This Winter

Let's face it, Washington DC doesn't get as cold in the winter as the rest of the country. Yet cold weather is on the way and so is the need to keep warm. Here are some vendors at this year's Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair to shop from that offer outdoor accessories for the cooler months.

If soft knitwear is more up your alley, then make sure to check out DeNada who offers accessories for both women and men. I'm especially digging the knit turbans, as seen above, that can also serve as a cover up to a bad hair day as well as keep you warm.

Rocks and Salt

The artist statement from Rocks and Salt say they "strive to keep men, women, and children across our beautiful planet looking good and feeling awesome in our handmade, stylin' and practical headwear." The piece as seen above is especially awesome as it gives protection to both the head and neck areas.

Becky Helms

For those looking to make a fashion statement as well as keeping the chilly air out, check out Becky Helms this year. Her chunky crocheted pieces in a wide range of colors can give the extra boost of style to any outfit. I especially like the bold color combinations as seen above.
