Cut The Craft

Just a Sneaky Little Peek

While the vendor gallery won't be live until early next week, I have been peeking at it a bit. Don't tell! And what I have seen is pretty amazing. Wanna see?

The first vendor that caught my eye was Pidge Pidge. Hailing from Chadds Ford, PA, Pidge Pidge marries a modern color palette with an old school skill. About her work Vanessa Lauria writes, "I hand weave every scarf using a slow, detail oriented process with a variety of fibers including organic cotton, recycled yarn and hand spun wool."

For reals. That is a crazy amount of work!

Another 2012 vendor who caught my eye is Season One Project Runway winner, Jay McCarroll, who will also be coming from nearby Pennsylvania. I missed Jay's booth last year because of that horrible cold rain (remember that?), so I will make sure to not miss his colorful booth inside this year.

Plus I can ask him a million questions about Tim Gunn and I bet that won't be annoying at all!

The monster count for any Crafty Bastards is usually pretty high. Plush monsters and monster t-shirts and monster bags, are usually aplenty, but new vendor, Leroy's Place is different! She searches the world for vintage paintings to add monsters to. Every monster is hand-drawn onto vintage paintings using pen and paint.

The full vendor gallery will be available for you to be inspired by next week. Can't wait to share it with you.
