Looks like you'll have to deal with this guy.
An Offer You Can Refuse
Speaking of internet ticket jam-ups: Tickets for the August 15 Merriweather Post Pavillion/Pavilion date on Phish's reunion tour, the only tour stop in this market, go on sale tomorrow at 11 a.m. All shows on the tour are selling out immediately.
So what kind of folks will be pounding away on their keyboards come sale time?
Well, here's an ad that appeared on the Washington, DC Craigslist site on Dec. 19, 2008 (PostingID: 964346143), from a guy who scored, so to speak, some passes to Phish's March 8 show at Hampton Coliseum, during the last Web sale:

Did Anybody Go to the Phish Reunion?
If so, did Trey Anastasio twiddle his tone and volume knobs after every lick? If so and if so, did anybody tell him to stop?
Most importantly: Was there Hacky Sack?
Given the build-up, I'm amazed how little I've heard of the three reformation shows.
Perhaps they waited too long.
What Will Come Back First: the Economy or Hacky Sack?
I wrote this week that Hacky Sack is dead in DC.
I was never into beanbag kicking, so I don't know when it died. I just know that I used to see tie-dyed and ponytailed males all circled up, legs flailing, all the time, all over town.
At some point when I wasn't paying attention, the game went away. And I mean, really went away. I haven't seen a kicking circle in forever.
Come to think of it, I haven't seen groups of tie-dyed, ponytailed males hanging out in forever, either.
Coincidence?
So what the hell happened to Hacky Sack? And will the circles stay all broken?
