			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>An alternative to this weekend's theatrical releases is After Dark's third annual <strong>Horrorfest</strong>, a pretty self-explanatory film festival with the tagline "8 Films to Die For."</p>
<p>Showing at D.C.'s beloved Phoenix Union Station from today through Jan. 15, the fest sounds like it could be a bloody (sorry) fun time at the movies, with picks that surely aren't going to be Oscar contenders but will land somewhere in that sweet spot between self-serious dreck like <em>The Unborn</em> and outright parody such as <em><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7W_sMFoyMs">Don't</a></em>. </p>
