In commemoration of D.C. Emancipation Day, bars in the District will be allowed to keep the drinks coming until 3 a.m. Friday morning.
The city's Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) informs us via Twitter: “DC gov't offices are closed this Friday – bars can stay open an extra hr Thurs night!"
