In The Slow Lane: The District Department of Transportation's immediate plans for heavily congested 16th Street NW do not call for a bus-only lane, even though transportation advocates have long lobbied for one. Instead, the transportation agency wants a transit priority study to "examine various alternative approaches for improving transit along the 16th Street NW corridor, including examining the potential for bus lanes.” -3
