The Pyramid of Congressional Mischief

It’s been quite a summer for the District’s congressional overlords. Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.) wants to nip the District’s marijuana decriminalization law in the bud, while Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) both want to eliminate the District’s gun laws.

But with so many meddling members of Congress, it can be hard to tell what could really happen and what will be killed by gridlock. Sometimes even District Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton doesn’t know for sure. Her office sent a press release last week declaring that Massie had been “humiliated” on the House floor, only for him to succeed with his pro-gun amendment the next day. To settle the confusion, here’s the only guide you’ll ever need to responding to interference from out-of-town lawmakers.

Yawn. The usual CP drivel on DC being considered a "state". When the corrupt, one-party nonsense stops and ALL rights of an American citizen are recognized here in DC, MAYBE the doofuses here will be allowed recognition (like becoming part of Maryland again).

Until then, DC is stuck with a harpy like Norton who is as WORTHLESS as tits on a bull.

More GOP goobers trying to make pronouncements about what the District can and can't do.

    - Corrupt, one-party nonsense.
    - Doesn't respect ALL rights of an American citizen (reproductive, marriage)
    - Doofuses

Why does the previous commenter want to deny statehood to Georgia?
