Activist Adam Kokesh Pleads Guilty to Drug and Weapon Charges

Activist Adam Kokesh succumbed to the law today and pleaded guilty to drug and weapon charges stemming from a video he posted online of himself loading a shotgun in Freedom Plaza, which is against the law in D.C.

Kokesh was arrested in July and is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 17, according to WJLA.

The video was part of his campaign to push for looser gun laws in the District.

Kokesh made local headlines when he tried to organize a group of fellow libertarians to march into D.C. on July 4 armed with weapons. But Metropolitan Police Department Chief Cathy Lanier said she would stop the rally at the bridge into the city, and the plan ultimately folded.

I guess this past month in the Big House with Big Bubba as a celly cured his stupidity, bringing him back to reality that he had a losing case and could have extended his Ms Bubba's apprenticeship. Yes, its not as much fun as parading around the City as the big bad ass to hell with the system protester.

Kokesh is now a convicted felon. Not just that, but a convicted gun felon. As such he will remain a federally registered gun offender. He may never legally own another firearm.

This would have, at a minimum, also have been the fate for anyone who might have carried a gun into the DC federal jurisdiction last 4th of July.

And here's the elephant in the room, those armed marchers, led by shotgun Kokesh, might have very well included shotgun wielding Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis.
