Reminder: The Logan Circle Rat Summit Is Tonight

Tonight's the night. The Advisory Neighborhood Commission presiding over the Logan Circle neighborhood is hosting its "Rodent & Sanitation Education, Training and Awareness Summit" tonight.

D.C.'s rat problem—long a visible and persistent issue across the city—seems to have only gotten worse along 14th Street NW recently thanks to the proliferation of new restaurants, according to the summit's organizers.

The gathering will bring together restaurant owners, residents, and members of relevant government agencies to address the problem and discuss how restaurants can minimize rat infestations by disposing of their trash and grease properly.

The meeting is tonight at 7 p.m. at the Washington Plaza Hotel. Here's to good rat combat, everyone.
