Dunbar High School Burgled Before Its First Day

The first day of school at the new $125 million Dunbar High School kicked off with some shattered glass and three fewer computers than anticipated.

An unknown number of suspects burglarized the school over the weekend, breaking in through a first-floor classroom window and stealing three laptops, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. The robbery was reported at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

No arrests have been made yet.

Now we know why the old Dunbar building was built without windows.

This is DC's way of breaking a bottle of champagne over the bow. The school can now open properly christened.

Boy I tell you, 'savages' have no regards or respect for anything these days. We are living in a society lacking morals.

@MIKE-GET WITH THE TIMES BAMMA. WHITEY'S FROM G'TOWN ARE PAWNING LAPTOPS TO BUY MOLLY, PAY THEIR BIKESHARE FEE, COP WEED AND 211.

THEIR PARENTS ARE TOO BUSY TO DEAL WITH THEIR NEEDY ASS AND BROKE FROM BIKRAM, LIFTS, TUCKS, INJECTIONS, CIALIS AND PATRON. BEING WHITE AIN'T WHAT IT USE TO BE HOMEY! WIPE YOUR FEET AS YOU ENTER. WOULD ASK YOU TO TAKE OFF YOUR CHUCK'S BUT YOUR FEET MAY STINK.

Call Emily Miller at the Washington Times - maybe this is the reason we shouldn't have schools in DC.

Every single new or revamped school and library completed in the District te past 5 years has been broken into within 1 month of opening, most after it was done, but before it opened. DCPS has had 250 laptops stolen in the past 4 years alone. Why we spend hundreds of millions on this over the top easy to break into architectural glass and steel palaces in ghettos is beyond me.
