Washington Post Website Hacked by Group That Supports Syrian President
The Washington Post website was apparently hacked this morning by a hacker collective, Syrian Electronic Army, believed to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Certain stories on the site are redirecting readers to the collective's website.
An editor's note on the Post's website said the paper is "working to resolve the issue."
The hacking comes a day after the New York Times website went down because of an "internal issue."
