The 4 Least Essential Items in the Obama Inauguration Store

The inauguration is just weeks away, and maybe you really want to score some official inauguration gear, for reasons known only to you. Here's your chance! The Presidential Inauguration Committee has launched its online shop, with a physical store at 1155 F St. NW to open at an as-yet-undecided later.

But some Obama/Biden souvenirs are better than others. Below, the least essential, and in some cases most mind-bogglingly expensive, inauguration merchandise:

Two Gold-Rimmed Champagne Flutes - $30

Of all the extravagant gifts in the inauguration store, this one best says, "Capitol from The Hunger Games."

Medallion Set - $7,500

Is Joe Biden's unmoving face on a medal, as if frozen in carbonite, just not enough for you? Get it three times, in gold, silver, and bronze.

Obama Tube Socks - $15

"Our Obama 44 tube socks are a fun and stylish way to commemorate the 57th Presidential Inauguration."

Motorcade Mug – $25

Remember those times you've been late because of a VIP motorcade? Celebrate them with this mug, which has some cars on it.

I'd totally buy a mini-figurine of Joe Biden frozen in carbonite.
