Pro-Gay Marriage Group Wants Gallaudet to Reinstate Employee

After her support for a petition to put a gay marriage law in Maryland up for a vote came to light recently, Dr. Angela McCaskill was put on paid administrative leave yesterday. But now McCaskill's getting support from a surprising place: a pro-gay marriage group.

"We strongly disagree with the decision to put the chief diversity officer on leave and hope she is reinstated immediately," says Marylanders for Marriage Equality campaign manager Josh Levin in a press release.

In the announcement, Levin says that people are entitled to their own free speech about Question 6, the ballot question that could overturn the law.

Good for you Josh Levin. You impress me.

Damn where did we go wrong, it's clear that it was meant to be one man/one woman, how else would you explain the two sexes, and there is a lot more wrong about this as well

@Urbanette: Absolutely. Josh Levin gets it and major kudos to him. Maybe he should be running Gallaudet? The politically correct idiots there don't deserve their jobs after this fiasco.

I hope Gallaudet's administration gets spanked over this fiasco. It's not about her job - it's about the university having the gall to initiate an adverse job action against Dr. McCaskill for PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR in the USA. She signed a petition. End of story.
