Post-Naked Meltdown, Kony 2012 to March on D.C.
You might want to steer clear of Pennsylvania Avenue on November 17. Proving that it takes more than a little public masturbation rampage to keep a good hashtag campaign down, the people behind Kony 2012 have announced that they're marching on D.C. that day, eight months after campaign co-founder Jason Russell was arrested for allegedly abusing cars and himself in public.
The campaign, aimed at Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony and his Lord's Resistance Army, has named their new march MOVE:DC. "Now is the time to act," the site explains. "To MOVE."
In the rally's video, stick figure protesters surround the White House, more than a little ominously. Other events, including a "global dance night," will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. MOVE:DC also reminds you to bring your Kony 2012 shirt–available for $20.
