“Let Teddy Win” Creator Concerned about New Presidents
Love it or hate it, faux-Teddy Roosevelt's first presidents race victory last week doesn't mean the end of the pro-Teddy movement. Scott Ableman, the blogger behind Let Teddy Win, says he'll keep writing despite being granted his site's titular wish.
"Nothing changes for LetTeddyWin.com," says Ableman, who's been enjoying a media renaissance in the days leading up to Teddy's success. Ableman says the most recent Teddy frenzy started after an ESPN short about the race that featured Sen. John McCain.
"We're getting more visitors than we ever have," Ableman says. In addition to continuing presidents race coverage, Ableman says his blog will touch on the rest of the fan experience at Nationals Park.
But as for rumored changes to the presidents race—Teddy's retirement, or the addition of a new president—Ableman is less optimistic. "I think that it should be a fair foot race between the four presidents on Mount Rushmore," he says.
