Rock Creek Park Joggers Terrorized by Real-Life Angry Birds

The food chain has gone all topsy-turvy in Washington, as owls have started attacking Rock Creek Park runners, reports WTOP, whose program director Laurie Cantillo could be the owls' latest victim.

As Cantillo ran along the trail Wednesday night, she felt a scraping on her head—from an owl!

"That's what was really freaky. You don't hear a thing. Now I know what a squirrel feels like," Cantillo says.

Spooky. Cantillo isn't the only runner the owls have decided would make a tasty treat. The Post has reported on other attacks, and ran this nightmarish sketch of one avian perpetrator.
