The Needle: Mystery Millionaire Edition

Mystery Millionaire: One winning Mega Millions lottery ticket remains unclaimed, and its winner apparently purchased it in Baltimore. "Whoever does claim the ticket is in for an even larger reward. Lottery officials say the record-breaking Mega Millions jackpot was even higher than originally announced. After sales from the 44 state lotteries were totaled, the final jackpot for Friday's drawing was increased to $656 million. It had previously been reported as $640 million." While one woman claims to have won, she has yet to turn in her ticket to officials. We never thought we'd be this interested in the fortunes of strangers! -2

Warmest March On Record: And we loved every second of it. NBC4 reports: "Storm4 Meteorologist Tom Kierein says that the average temperature for the month of March in 2012 (combining highs and lows) at Reagan National Airport was 56.8 degrees. The previous record of 56.2 degrees for the month of March was set in 1945." +1

Nike will unveil its designs tomorrow morning. It's only a shame that a name change isn't also in the works. +1

Williams Sued For Partner's Sexual Molestation Charge: The parents of a then-13-year-old girl are suing Ward 8 D.C. Council candidate Natalie Williams and her modeling business partners for the sexual molestation of their child by Williams' partner Kenneth Flanagan. The parents allege that Williams knew about Flanagan's criminal background and could have warned them. Flanagan pleaded guilty to the assault.  -3
