Leslie Johnson Gets 12 Months and One Day in Prison

What a way to end your career. Cash-in-bra stuffer Leslie Johnson follows in the footsteps of her husband Jack Johnson, who was sentenced to 7 years in prison last week. She's got  sentence of her own for corruption charges, handed down by the same judge who sentenced her husband.

Johnson, 60, had faced up to 18 months in prison, according to federal guidelines. Her lawyers asked for probation, citing her responsibilities caring for aged mother, an ill sister, and a son in his 20s who is in graduate school and living at home.

U.S. District Judge Peter J. Messitte said Johnson will be eligible for release in 10 months. He also ordered her to serve two years supervised release, to perform 240 hours community service and to pay a $15,000 fine. She is to report for prison March 9.

I find it ridiculous that these two were pleasing for mercy on their sentences - just like the developers were pleading not to have to pay (although they are snakes as well).

And now Jack claims he has Parkinson's!!! how convenient for him to get sick prior to going to the Big House.

I do not feel sorry for any of these thugs - because that is what they are and Leslie should have had a longer sentence if you ask me.

If you think this is going to end her career I feel sorry for you. Three words - mayor for life.

She got off lightly. They should have fined her and that crooked husband double the money they scammed over all those years. Hurting greedy people in the pocketbook HARD is the best punishment for those type of people (i.e. greedy bastards and bitches).

LOL@Typical DC BS; I agree, the Cow and her crooked husband got off lightly. If that had been you or I, they would have thrown the book at us and we would be sharing a prison cell with a big muscular guy named Bubba for a very long time.
