Union Station Chaos: Potential Jumper, Bus Fire

A potentially grisly scene unfolded this afternoon at Union Station. DC Fire and EMS spokesperson Pete Piringer says a few moments ago a woman was atop the parking garage "threatening to jump." Frozen Tropics has been keeping track of the crisis via Twitter posts, and it appears things have been resolved:

Earlier, there was more chaos in the area when a tour bus caught on fire at North Capitol Street and H Street to a malfunctioning air conditioner. Piringer says the bus was full of tourists, but they escaped unharmed. He also says the charred bus has been towed away.
