Teachers Make Rap Video to Motivate Students for Testing

This week, students at the city's public schools are taking their high-stakes standardized tests—the D.C. Comprehensive Assessment System, or DC-CAS.

But how to motivate kids to reach new heights of testing achievement? Snacks? Field trips? Inspiring speakers?

Teachers at one school, Petworth's E.L. Haynes Public Charter School, decided that a music video would be the way to go. To the tune of Young Money's "BedRock," behold "CASrock":

Says one WCP staffer, "They're totally gonna make AYP this year."
