Do you have permission to print photographs of the Church of Scientology's patented religious paraphernalia? They're pretty quick to sue about that, according to news stories that were published far enough in the past that any statute of limitations has expired.

Nice work, Matt.
cminus, as long as people and (and patented religious paraphernalia) are in full public view, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy and therefore you are legally allowed to photograph them according to the law. There are some restrictions, (some gov't buildings and spaces where photography is prohibited; if you're inside a privately owned space you have to comply if the owner does not want you to photograph) but basically if people are out conducting stress tests on the National Mall you are legally allowed to photograph them, and as long as the shots are not being used for commercial purposes then permission is not required.

Mike, do you really believe any of that would stop the Church of Scientology from filing a lawsuit anyway?
