UrbanTurf Outrageous lie; "Jim Abdo, the visionary developer credited with the resurgence of Logan Circle"

Abdo was a late comer and profiteer whose projects are in no way visionary, while others were building quality Abdo has mostly contributed the tenements of tomorrow. Ask the people who bought in Abdo projects or ask the lawyers!

While the rest of us were rebuilding a neighborhood Jim Abdo was entertaining Tony Williams at his weekend house. I can't recall one instance of Abdo contributing to that effort. This whole endeavor looks like an Abdo publicity stunt.

Debonis, why to you keep feeding us JRB crap?
Jonetta Rose Barras is out of touch, how is increasing charter schools and charter school enrollment, coupled with increasing out of boundary request (parents fleeing their local schools) something to be embraced let alone inspiring? A widening gap between the haves and have nots is not reform.

Rosa, WardQueen, Columbiana and Etc.,

Allow me to save you some time before you add to the ill-informed rants you penned yesterday about Yvette Alexander endorsing Jim Graham:

Neither Graham nor his campaign had anything to do with "dragging peoples families into the mud."

If you bothered to read something as simple as a HEADLINE, you would see that Alexander first mentioned Smith's wife, not Graham or his campaign.

The Post makes that clear in the headline:

"Alexander: I'll back Graham over staffer's spouse"

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dc/2010/03/alexander_ill_back_graham_over.html

Despite your wild accusations, Graham and his campaign don't write headlines for The Post, nor do they put words into Councilmember Yvette Alexander's mouth.

Her endorsement was a surprise announcement and the story she used to back it up was her own to tell. She could have easily left out Smith and his wife, but she chose to add those details.

If you have an axe to grind with Graham and his campaign, the least you could do is make sense and adhere to the facts.
