Will someone look into WHY Matthews Memorial owns SO much property in Ward 8? I BET it will lead you back to Marion Barry. These so called Spiritual leaders are in Barry's back pocket for a reason. We need the FBI and we need the council to make it impossible for Barry to run for re election.

Tom, as I understand it, the way "commuter taxes" generally work elsewhere is as reciprocal tax agreements, in which the place you live transfers some tax revenue to the place you work. So if you lived in DC but worked in VA, you'd put something on your tax form to indicate that and some DC money would go to VA. Of course far more people work in DC and live in VA, so the net flow of money would be from VA's treasury to DC's. But there wouldn't be any special extra tax for you or any other commuter.

I watched this morning on TV that bull shit with Barry and this so-called pastor Matthew Hudson at the "Matthews Memorial Baptist". I reminded of that old saying, "Birds of a feather flock together", I'm sure this Hudson is out there like Barry shaking down people, all in the name of God, selling seats to the pearly gates!, how pathetic!
