Good on the 2000 protesters for finally getting their due, and getting the concessions on training and liaisons as well. Now we'll see if Nickles has finally figured out how screwed he is on the Pershing case and will agree to the appropriate figure before T-day.

If this settlement is a record, it won't stand for long I reckon. Maybe the council having to find another 50 Mil+ in next years budget will get them to at least find the time to bother doing hearings on the discovery abuses in the AG's office?

God help me, I agree with Mad Al. This city gets screwed day in and day out by immoral carpet bagging government workers. On both the Federal and Municipal side.
At least it's only for 13 million and change.
Not good, but compared to H. Walters, M. Barry, or DC's 3 billion budget, not too horrible either.

Most of the DC pigs live in MD or VA, so they don't have to pay one cent of this. Only prosecuting & imprisoning rogue police criminals will have any effect. Nothing will change unless & until you do that.

Ramsey lives in PA & will pay not one cent of this. DC pigs live in VA & MD & pay no taxes in DC, so they won't pay one cent of this.Ramsey is still pulling down his multi-million dollar pension paid by DC.

The DC pigs don't give a shit - it ain't their fucking money. Unless you criminally prosecute Ramsey & the officers described above, nothing will change. Oh & they could also deduct the $13.7 million from the pigs' paychecks. Without criminal prosecutions, nothing will change. Most of these pigs would gladly pay a few thousand bucks to beat the shit out of some hippies. Look for more police riots next time there's a demonstration by the Left. Pigs are pigs, & this verdict won't change them at all.
