The people of the District should give Petey Nickles a one-way ticket back to Virginia. Then, we pass a law barring Nickles from ever setting foot again in our little old District.

On what basis does Nickles claim the city is unable to respond to an affidavit signed by its own detective? Isn't that exactly what Nickles has been doing by filing publicly available motions and in his statements in open court?

Depends on who you ask, DRez. My sense is that DC has offered numerous inconsistent and unverifiable explanations. That's partly why it's lost credibility.

No joke. The deal is: Nickles knew all along that Hustler heard Ramsey give the arrest order. Thats why Nickles wanted to ban him from testifying in a deposition.

Now that Hustler's affidavit is out there, all of a sudden Nickles is crying that he is the victim of a grand conspiracy by plaintiffs to prevent Hustler from testifying in a deposition where Nickles could engage in a slanderous character attack against this honest cop.

Nickles is looking pretty empty right now. Rather small.
