Will Democrats, who have been piecing together an ambitious plan to save the failing newspaper industry, rush assistance to keep the Washington Times running? Will Ben Cardin, D-Md., come up with some way to funnel govenment cash to save this vital voice? Some of us have long thought the mysterious funding for the Washington Times was coming from the CIA, via the Korean CIA anyway. There are not enough Moonies to come up with the $2 billion the Washington Times has lost in the last two decades. Hmm, I wonder about the political fallout. Call, Me, Jon Slavin, I will make myself look like an ignorant tool for a very reasonable fee, though I will demand a weekly lunch in the corporate cafeteria.
