I go back to my earlier point - Snyder's love affair with flashy trashy punks. It first surfaced with Snyder's pursuit of Neon Deon & Jeff George. Two bigger punks never lived. Since then, it's only continued - the Miami Crew, Portis, Moss, Landry, Hall, Face Stomper Haynesworth, et al. Moreover, it also surfaces as the root cause of the reason the Skins never draft offensive linemen. The O Line is one of the few punk-free zones in the NFL. Can you recall ANY offensive lineman making a fuss comparable to the average linebacker after a sack? No, the O Line is a punk-free zone. Chris Samuels, Jon Jansen, the great O Lines of the 1980s: no punks. Once Dan "Punky" Snydester stops falling in love with flashy trashy punks & signs some good solid players, the Skins will win more than they lose. Until then, it's just going to be more of the same.
