Cool, my sarcastic joke about Cate Blanchett shopping for ottomans is now a limerick! Strange twists and turns for an internet rumor.

? re: jojo. The paper still has news- it just also has a lighter limerick feature to it for when one is in search of a witty take on things. Quite respectable newspapers have had crosswords, cartoons, and games (none of them even marginally news related!) for many years. I say thumbs up.

i wholly disagree with dave. no offense to Hannah, your limericks are fine. funny even. but the City Paper is supposed to be a newspaper. This is a gimmick. I've been an avid reader of the paper and the blogs for a long time, and I have to say that this is truly a new low.

The City Paper just became the best news source in D.C. with this addition. There's not even a close second.

Brilliant work! All news should be delivered in witty and concise 5-line rhyming stanzas. I'm eagerly awaiting the limerick when the Prez vacations in Nantucket next summer.
