I haven't seen anyone report that the former controller of UPO recently won a whistleblower lawsuit after he refused to engage in fraudulent billing. Is it time for a follow up story?

I believe this is an example of the Executive Branch and their disrespect of unions. I hope everyone who can possibly win a case will win. I also hope some viable candidate will run against Adrian Malik Fenty and defeat him. Whether people agree with unions or not, they are in place. The lawlessness of Fenty's administration and agency heads are demonstrating the necessity for unions.

Oh please... how many times does this case have to be dismissed before the union gives up? I know several OES former employees who are now happily employed with UPO (the private contractor who won the bid). Funny you see disgruntled former employees complaining, but i haven't seen any families complaining about the loss.

Temple has a good reputation -- really? His brief in federal court was mind-blowingly bad and the jurisdictional problem was obvious. I thought it must be the amateur hour.

Silly of Nickles to claim vindication, though.

Hard to tell whether this case is any stronger than the previous one -- nothing quoted here cites local laws that have allegedly been violated.
