I caught the cartoon and I 'sadly' believe it satirizes exactly how this Mayor thinks of himself.

However, if I had stolen money from an estate, serving as it's appointed trustee, got caught by the family doing it and brought before the bar and sanctioned, then turn around and get elected as Mayor of D.C., I imagine I would feel sort of invincible too.

Regarding the inline link, the law is not clear, though _Perfect 10 v. Google_ holds that some in-line linking is acceptable. If WaPo said to take it down, LL certainly would.

so wapo editorial hits fenty in cartoon and prose twice in two days, yet LL "misses" the first cartoon, and none of the usual gaflies and whiners who complain about Post love affair with Fenty is on here to acknowledge the criticism from the Post. hmm LL just happened to miss the cartoon. sure, okay, riiight. somehow LL never misses the chance to hammer the Post for favoritism to Fenty. weird how that works, huh? (and is it ethical/legal within copyright law to re-post entire WaPo cartoon on City Paper site? hmmm, one wonders where the wemple outrage is!)
