Fenty needs to go and go far away. Jim Graham needs to surrender his spot on the metro board. Better yet, Jim Graham needs to resign.

The problem is Fenty is going to win.

YEs I hate the man (sorry dislike with a hatred of his corrupt manner and incompetence.)

However, because so many people dislike Fenty DC residents tell any council candidate they meet on the street that would be a better mayor and should consider running.

When I said I Would vote for a Brown rat, I did not meet vote for Brown.

Everyone is filling Kwame Brown's head with fluff and Harry Thomas.

Kwame is so light weight he would need to put sandbags in his shoes to have a heavy thought. No advance education, no executive experience and an articulation snaggle puss would be proud of. He does not sell better than Fenty. Unless Fenty is finally indicted by then (cross our fingers).

Thomas---nice guy but rougher than Mike Tyson at a beauty pagent and judges as well.

We need Vince Gray. Or Mayor Williams

And after David Catania lined up to kiss Fenty's behind these days--I wouldn't be happier to see him go.

As I wrote of the Post editorial:

The role of Jim "Taxi Cash" Graham in the debacle that AIDS services evolved into can not be overstated. Graham was the first to master and exploit the AIDS grift. Many of the organizations such as those cited in the Post articles came into being as a response to Graham's megalomaniacal hold on AIDS funding yet when he left Whitman Walker Clinic it too was in an utter shambles.

When in 2005 the flotsam and jetsam of the Graham era combined with the District's year+ long failure to pay the Clinic's vouchers resulted in financial collapse at WWC, where was Graham? Graham was playing interference in the Wilson Building. WWC could not reach payroll yet Graham, in a desperate frenzy of reputation management, rather then helping, was making sure that the Mayor was kept in the dark and senior management and even the President of the WWC Board could not get their phone calls returned.

I commend the Post for these articles, as far as they go, and wish Dr. Hader well. Make no mistake though that this is a deeply entrenched "look the other way while one hand washes the other culture".

Wherever and however investigation proceed, and they are long overdue, it bears remembering as has been stated by others "if you cut off the tail, the dog can still bite, if you cut off the head the dog dies".

OMG! I was a juror on the case for Toumani Thomas last year when he was charged with several felony level drug charges. He was caught dead to rights but in typical DC fashion several of the jurors found it easier to believe him than the crack, the crack dusted money or the eyewitness testimony of the MANY cops who saw he deal. Because we couldn't convince the "anybody but him" jury we had a hung jury. I always wondered what happened to him. UNBELIEVABLE!

‘No one feared stealing….No one feared robbing us blind — and so they did.’ Prosecute the thieves & put them in prison for 20+ years, & the widespread thievery will diminish, slowly but surely.

Normally I'm in favor of shorter prison sentences, no prison for drug offenses, etc., but for people who steal public funds, severe punishment is appropriate. These people steal from all of us, & often the people most hurt by the thefts are poor people - in this instance, people with HIV/AIDS. The thieves need to be put away for long enough sentences that it deters future would-be thieves.
