I think that "King" Fenty, Mistress of Education Michelle Rhee and Peter Knickles-The Real Mayor" should all be jailed for violating "the trust of every teacher, student, parent, and voter of this city. This dynamic trio have no regard for anyone. I hope that the Justice Department would look into Impeachment charges for Adrian "A Compete Idiot" Fenty. I would vote for Elmo before I would ever vote for Fenty. I have had Plenty of Fenty!

How come no one is talking about the new 31 "Master Educators" for DCPS that Rhee just recruited and hired from across the country (@ $90,000 per year each) during this time of fiscal crisis? And why did she have to do this? Because as a failed teacher herself (remember she said the kids in Baltimore chased her out of the classroom crying), she and her team lack the gravitas to walk into a classroom to observe anyone. All this proves is 3 things: Adrian Fenty is a clown, Michelle Rhee and TFA/NLNS/NTP are part of a very troubling elitist and far left agenda, and the children of DCPS will be the ones to suffer.

So sad.

I agree. Right now, I would like just about anybody BUT Fenty, but Gray is a responsible choice who can't do any WORSE than Fenty and will most likely do better. At least he isn't a immature child....

So let me get this straight. The City Council is acting like they just realized Rhee and Fenty lack credulity? Whatever!! The Council is complicit in everything Fenty and his regime have done all over the city because they have sat back and let him operate with impunity. Now that there is a paper trail they want to speak up? Well, well, well ... the plot thickens. Everyone knows by now that no one is allowed to say 'no' to Michelle Rhee. Look at the price tag to that. And, since personnel dismissals are within the mayor's purview, let him pay the lawsuits too. Because people are suing, they will win and they will expose this, as Council Chair Gray now puts it, 'disingenuous' mayor to whom the entire council seems beholden.

Let's see...

This budget shortfall of $40M for DCPS is roughly equivalent to the how much the "Summer Jobs" program has been over budget the last two years...

So if the Mayor had followed his approved budget for DOES he wouldn't be dealing with DCPS cuts now and blaming someone else.
