		<description>It would have been interesting to include the shot-spotter statistics (where available) in the gunshot calls piece. Calls of gunshots is really a bad statistic to go on if you&#039;re trying to gauge crime because many folks don&#039;t know the difference between fireworks and sounds of gunshots (this is not a bad thing) and many of those calls for shots fired end up being fireworks/firecrackers.</description>

How come Barry Farm (re)Mixed hasn&#039;t made it to the blogroll under &quot;Hoods&quot;? Actaully for that matter I don&#039;t see my blog or And, Now Anacostia either and I thought it was under there yesterday. 

Can we get some love for River East? lol. Seriously though there has definetly been an explosion of blogs on our side. So great that citizens are feelign inspired to share the story of their communities.</description>

Considering the amount of press we get for gang activity in Columbia Heights and Petworth, the reality doesn&#039;t look as that bad as one might think.</description>
