HI Dave, hope you calmed down a bit. Did you call the folks involved? If you did then kudos for following through and getting a "no comment." Tho my journalism professor would have required that part be put in the story (I moved away from journalism when I found out what it paid---no thanks). You also jumped away from the point of your story, which was conflict of interest for the preseason games. As for those "shows", well, those are fine pieces of television that should be watched only after drinking. The "credits" technically list who did what on the show. From the shows I have seen, they don't do credits, only have a copyright and yeah, it says Redskins. In Jacksonville, I think the team buys the airtime and then the team gets to sell the commercials. Think infomercial. Actually a Bears fan here. I hope Snyder keeps wrecking the Skins for a few more years so it's an easy win on our schedule when the NFC Least comes around again. Nope, don't wear a Bears shirt to work...only wear it when watching the games. Only way I'd root for that Da Skins is if they brought Ditka back. Might be a tool here, but not a totally dull one. Had a relative who had to work on a preseason package and he got paid nothing extra. Just "part of his job assignment." Yes, his station had some financial deal with the team, but he didn't. I see your USA Today fellow scribe did sell out to the dark side; how much was that worth to him?

Deep Thoughts: take a look at the production credits for "Redskins Gameplan" and the coaches shows that wrc's news department staffs and get back to me. they ain't even wrc shows, Deepy! are you saying if wrc launders dan snyder's money, you're all square with it? that's the washington times'explanation about its relationship with Snyder via WTEM, and it's silly to hear them say it too. folks in news departments used to either avoid these conflicts of interest or hide them better. and that line about "in today's economy...blah blah blah" means you admit it's a blatant conflict of interest, but the dollar's more important? what sorta tool are you, Deepy? Lemme guess: The sorta tool who wears a Redskins shirt to work! 'course, I'd sell out to Snyder for a lot less than those talented folks at WRC cost him. if only he'd ask... in any case, Deepy, thanks for Playing the Feud™!

Is she on the payroll? So, you think she gets checks that say REDSKINS on them? If it's like most contracts, she gets paid by her station, which really has the deal with the Skins, most likely not the talent themselves.

In today's economy, I'm betting she gets paid zip extra and just has it assigned as one of her duties in her workday. But hey, it makes great blog fodder, even if it's just a thought--not a well thought out one tho.

Lindsay Czarinak is the best lay in DC - bar none. She's like a wild little bird, hopping & thrashing around, & she gives great head, too. As a sports journalist, she's ... well, she's still a great lay.

Cora Masters Barry, on the other hand, is a professional criminal. Once Effi left Marion, his life fell apart, & Cora is Exhibit B [the smoking crack tape is Exhibit A, of course].

I took my car title to Cash Point & got cash, bet on the Ravens & the under, just as you said, & after paying interest to Cash Point, I netted $10, so I bought a pitcher of beer, a slim jim, & a pickled egg. It was my best supper in weeks. Thanks.
