Tom: I would like to be fair. However, when it comes to this mayor, he doesn't display the same benevolence to others. He doesn't operate in fairness. He operates in intimdation, arrogance, selfishness, and self-righteousness. This mayor is corrupt! The Mayor’s fraternity brothers were thanking him the whole night for throwing the party. He knew that he did not personally write a check for the party. Therefore, eventhough is he not the brightest bulb in the lamp, he had to know that the city was covering the cost. Additionally, the information given yesterday said that the “grant” came from the Deputy Mayor’s office. Thus, Mr. Fenty either knew or should have known.

Judge Sullivan is a good, fair, tough, no-nonsense judge - & a DC native & a McKinley High & Howard U. grad! He worked his way up through the trenches. Jaffe got the appeals court appointment wrong - J. Sullivan was appointed to the DC Court of Appeals, not the (Federal) Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.

Too be fair when national organizations hold annual meetings, there typically is a good competition between states and cities to host these conventions. Now i dont know if it was appropriate to just pay for a party, but it is not unusual for cities to pay the organizations. Basically these organizations have over tens of thousands of members who travel that contributes heavily to sales and hotel tax revenue

HA HA HA...you're delving into Commedic writing now, LL-Cherkis? I guess after being reamed out by Judge Sullivan, Nickels has to at least "act the part" of an impartial AG. Time will tell. Fenty will just pull the money out of his War Chest and claim it as some campaign activity.
