now i'm sad, IMG!

"how about, as soon as you get two degrees in geography, you get back to me, eh?"

did you write that for real, IMG? geezus chrysler.

Let's recap: i wrote about a soccer game between one team from a soccer league with "North American" in its name and one team from a soccer league with "Central America" in its name. you called me out -- using a bold typeface even!! -- for labeling the one team from the soccer league with "North American" in its name as "the North Americans." What you did, IMG, was cocky and silly and the sort of thing only a buffoon who would boast about his or her geography degrees in a web site's comments section would do.

I'm telling you, go read my copy again and find a real mistake. you can do it, IMG, I promise. but don't invent an error just so you can feel better about that second degree! just don't!

and if you ain't gonna do the right thing and apologize for being such a tool, could you maybe put your studies to real use and teach me how to fold up a travel map?

in any case, IMG, congrats for Playing the Feud™ into the bonus round!

how about, as soon as you get two degrees in geography, you get back to me, eh?

honduras is part of north america. their national team can play in whatever league they want (israel plays in the european region for world cup purposes, and there is no way in hell israel is part of europe), but the country is part of north america. sorry, you can't debate that fact.

thanks for playing the feud yourself. maybe you can write a story that involves fellatio in it. maybe that will get you a few more readers. doesn't seem to hurt for the rest of your compadres there in the office...

I want an apology in writing, IMG, for inflicting your Geography Bowlish wrongness and bad attitude on me and both my readers. CONCACAF, sponsor of the Gold Cup game referenced here, is an alliance of the North American Football Union (NAFU) and the Confederacion Centroamericana y del Caribe de Futbol (Football Confederation of Central America and the Caribbean). And, youbetcha, while the USA was indeed with the -- repeat after me, IMG! -- NORTH AMERICAN association, Honduras was not part of NAFU. So FU. how hard would it have been to find a real error in my copy? lemme answer: NOT! So how are you gonna make me and, you know, both my readers whole?

bottom line: thanks for Playing the Feud!™

honduras is part of north america, dave, so your statement about the north americans having a 1-0 lead just doesn't work...
