It seems to me that they don't like Real World in general. They didn't have too many criticisms of it being in DC, though...
"The house is lit up all the time" That would happen no matter what city it's in. Have you seen the quality of night vision cameras? It's no good.
"When you come DC and you're that age, you don't have that house. You live in a basement apartment with maybe a stove" That's the reality for lots of cities, not just DC. Also, you usually don't have those kinds of people living together. It has long been known that Real World doesn't give an acurate depiction of what it's like to be a young person trying to make it in the big city. Like the old guy said, they put a bear and a lion together and see what happens.
"They are followed by a mob of paparazzi" That tends to happen to people who are quasi-famous, which these people will be soon. I noticed she didn't complain about the movie they're shooting. Those are bigger stars being followed by a bigger mob. Besides, what's the difference between a small mob for a Real Worlder and a security detail for a political figure? They're both one guy being followed by two to four other guys who want you to get out of their way and aren't very nice about it.
