Say what you will about attorneys, personal injury, or Internet marketers, but this is a very common practice and one that has validity. People were injured in DC and most likely will deserve compensation of some kind. Who cares how they find it?

Q, you're absolutely right that this site is a prime example of "why personal injury lawyers get such a bad name". But know this: The best, experienced, and most highly respected personal injury lawyers (including yours truly) refuse to participate in these marketing ploys. In fact, we actively lobby against them. Please don't stereotype us as a whole based on the distasteful greediness of a few. Same goes for you, DeBonis.

OMG, what in the name of capitalism and litigation would generate such monstrocity? This cheaply made website (literally, you could make it, including content in like 10 minutes with MS Word) shows us why personal injury lawyers get such a bad name. I'm sure it will attract people from the last train car to as far as those on the ORANGE line who may suffer from PTSD in hearing of the accident.

The fact that the ad is playing on Metro's site is not surprising. They need money too.
